Former Reserve Bank chair Grimes hits back over insulation 'error' claim

One of New Zealand's top economists has dismissed a claim that a report he co-authored led to the benefits of insulating rental properties being overstated.

Under proposed legislation all state houses and government subsidised social housing will need to be insulated from mid-216, while all private rental properties will need to be insulated by mid-2019, a programme which will affect around 180,000 homes.
