Kade Sorensen

Kade holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Auckland where his research focused on urban and housing economics. Outside of academia his career has centred on modelling and data science, with a focus on simulation modelling to support policy design and evaluation.

He is particularly interested in the application of data science approaches to research. At Motu Research, he supports the work programme spanning land use, housing, spatial modelling and econometrics, and urban policy.

 

Kade is based in Sydney and alongside his role at Motu Research he works for SGS Economics and Planning - an Australian-based consultancy specialising in urban policy.
